MU Series Melting Units – Powerful and Efficient Solutions for Industrial Use

The Indutherm MU Series melting units are designed for melting metals in atmospheric conditions and manually pouring into molds or ingot forms. With crucible capacities ranging from 155 ccm to 1200 ccm, they are suitable for processing gold, silver, copper, aluminum, brass, and bronze. Equipped with low-frequency induction generators (10–15 kW), these systems ensure excellent stirring effect during melting for homogeneous alloy composition.

The MUV and MUVV versions include vacuum chambers that activate immediately after pouring, improving mold filling, reducing porosity, and preventing oxidation. The MU 200 C version is tailored for high-temperature materials like steel, platinum, palladium, and cobalt-chromium alloys, using direct induction heating.
