VC25000

Our large vacuum pressure casting machines are mainly used for precision castings in aluminum alloys, as well as for artistic and handcrafted objects made of brass and bronze.

 

They are always the first choice for parts with complex geometries or in cases where the production quantity is not sufficient for pressure die casting.

 

The VC 25000 V offers the best prerequisites for high-quality castings in aluminum.

 

The hydrogen content in aluminum alloys can be controlled by adjusting the vacuum during the melting process.

 

In this way, foaming of the molten metal is prevented without the use of any melt additives.

 

The high pressure applied in the melting chamber during and after casting, combined with simultaneous vacuum in the mold chamber, optimizes mold filling—especially in detailed or thin-walled areas.

Since 2018, all of our large VC machines have been equipped with a program control system featuring 100 programs.

 

Thanks to the full-text LCD control panel, users can set and adjust all programs and parameters easily and conveniently.

With only one machine, you can produce your own alloys or semi-finished products in different shapes and sizes in the shortest time, for example:

  • wires or bars in every diameter you need, up to ø 90 mm (V-CC3000)
  • sheets and strips, e.g. ring production, for stamping and pressing
  • tubes, perfect as basic material for cutting in sections for wedding ring production
  • granulates

As the desired parts and alloys can be produced within minutes, you can reduce your investment for material in storage. Your processes will get faster, more flexible and more efficient. With optionally available equipment as for example sintering set for diffusion bonding and granulation tank the versatility of these machines may be enhanced even more.

The new CC/VCC generation: improved for even higher quality
The new CC/VCC machines are equipped with new and highly efficient induction generators. Thanks to a new control panel with full text LCD display, all parameters are very easy and convenient to set (100 casting programs).

To reduce the risk of oxidation during melting and during drawing, the new machines are equipped with inert gas function, vacuum system for the melting chamber (VCC), optical die temperature measurement, die cooler with inert gas flushing and additional secondary cooling system. All these measures are ideal especially for alloys containing copper such as red gold or for silver as these materials tend to oxidise easily. Degasification under a vacuum results in a substantially improved – because of the absence of oxidation – semi-finished product.

More about MC 16

Suitable for all metals

The 3.5 kW induction heating means that the material melts extremely rapidly in an atmosphere without oxidation. All metals – also platinum and steel – can be cast without difficulty. The crucibles are large enough to solve any standard casting task one would find in a studio or atelier with no difficulty at all. The flasks can also accommodate larger or heavier jewellery parts. It is equally possible to melt and cast minimal amounts of metal.

The entire process is extremely fast, especially if the goldsmith uses so-called speed investment compounds. This enables rapid response to new models, fulfillment of express orders and the implementation of last-minute ideas, for example before a trade fair.

Rapid and simple casting

The whole process of casting can be carried out simply, quickly and safely without any real prior technical knowledge of casting.
In the investment machine the gipsum gets mixed under vacuum – correctly dosed and air bubble free. The flask with the wax model gets filled under vacuum, too. Vibration during filling eliminates air inclusions.

The wax is molten off in the furnace and the mould is burnt out.
