Castaldo “Rapido” Rubber

CASTALDO Rapido jewelry mold rubber is an EXTREMELY FAST silicone rubber. Hard and durable rubber molds can be prepared in as little as 15 minutes, significantly increasing production speed. With Rapido jewelry mold rubber, your models are brought into production RAPIDLY.
CASTALDO Rapido jewelry silicone mold rubber cures at 93°C and has a shrinkage rate of only 1.4%.
As shown in the table, the curing time of Rapido jewelry mold rubber is approximately one-third of that of standard rubbers.
Castaldo Rapido rubber, like Castaldo Super High Strength, Econosil, and other jewelry silicone mold rubbers, has a putty-like consistency.
Wax models produced from molds made with Castaldo Rapido retain fine details and exhibit highly glossy surfaces, minimizing the need for finishing operations.

Wax models are easily released from the mold and do not require a release spray or powder. With Rapido, molds are easy to prepare and can be cut effortlessly, almost like slicing cheese. The shrinkage rate is only 1.4%.

All tools and techniques used are the same as those for other Castaldo silicone mold rubbers; therefore, no technical changes or additional effort are required.

Castaldo Rapido is supplied in strip form and is covered with a special peel-off paper on its surface.
